Key Worker Housing

Key worker housing is a government led initiative designed to assist front line workers particuarlary in health and education sectors whose services are essential to communities and who need to live within a reasonable travelling distance to work.

Key Care Projects is committed to working with housing solution providers for Key Workers to ensure the needs of the individual and community are met.

To Qualify as a key worker, individuals must be from the following groups:

• Health Workers ( NHS staff including social workers etc)
• Teachers- Including FE teachers
• Prison officers and some prison service staff
• Probation officers, senior probation officers and probation service
• Local Authority social workers
• Local Authority occupational therapists
• Local authority educational psychologists
• Metropolitan Police
